My family has a long history, returning to Bantry Bay, Ireland. My grandmother on my father's side always told me that many of the People in Bantry Bay are our relatives. We came through England and then to America, immigrating the long and patient but lawful way, and became true Americans. I now being a 4th Generation Californian, with over 400+ years of amazing history and part Native American through my grandmother's side of the family and Italian from my mother's side of the family, have a lovely mix of ancestry to me, and thank God for all of them.Because of having a wonderful father who did not want anyone to take advantage of my perseverance, willingness always to be helpful, never quit, never stop trying to succeed, and tackle every issue or problem head-on, I am who I am today because of his faith in God and his faith in me to make things happen. This was and still is an amazing journey and everyone will benefit from reading and hearing it...

We were a normal working family, both mother and father were required to work, but even that was not enough to keep things going financially. During this time, I was a kid who used very colorful metaphors in my language all of the time, but then started to straighten up when I was 13 years old, which also wanted to start working, but on one condition I had to listen to Ministry Tapes in the van while I was working. Approached a Newspaper Deliver company, which had 6000 papers/customers in 15 routes delivered by 14 men, I was 13 years old and they allowed me to work as number 15, because my Dad was operating the van so they made an exception and hired me. Within 7 days I went from 200 papers to over a 1000 papers I delivered every day 7 days a week, basically 365 days a year, no days off, I memorized the customer delivery lists and was able to deliver all 1000 papers before any of the other 14 delivery men would get back, I was handling 1/6th of that entire delivery businesses paper routes. During this time the owner which hired me, sold the business to another man, because he saw just how much I was handling, they promoted me to assistant manager under him, they reduced my papers in half, so I would be back way before anyone else, and then I would be available to help any other delivery person if he got behind or did not show up. Then this owner could not take the pressure and sold it to another brother and sister who really appreciated how fast I was and how thorough I would be, number one with almost a perfect record of no missed deliveries, that was a big thing in the paper business, so they not only let me fully be a assistant manager, they treated me with respect as an adult the entire time. That is when I got into computers back in 1981, and offered to build them a full computer system and program a complete custom route management system, it would actually print out all of their routes for them automatically for all drivers, it was another amazing event I was able to achieve while I worked there ...
